Online Mapping Application

Web App Developed with ArcGIS Web App Builder & ArcGIS Server

Hydrological Mapping Application

This application was created as part of a Capstone project for Alberta Environment and Parks (see below for more information). The main functionality of the application allows the user to access and view hydrological data throughout the Lower Athabasca Basin. The application allows the user to query for water quality data from a database representing the period from 1997 to 2017. The application also includes a built-in geoprocessing tool which searches for exceeded peak water quality limits based on the user-defined chemistry or element type.

Acknowledgment to my partner Phil Neville for his contribution to this project.

Capstone Project BGIS Program, SAIT

Hydrogological Assessment Tools

This poster was designed for a Capstone project carried out as part of the BGIS Program at SAIT. The aim of this project was to create a suite of geoprocessing tools for the viewing, and analysis, of water quality data in the Lower Athabasca Basin. In addition to the Web Application (discussed above), the project also includes various geoprocessing tools written in Python for the graphing and analysis of water quality data. Further, analysis of satellite imagery was used to create a detailed land cover/land use map which delineates areas of industrial development. This project was made possible with the support and cooperation of the Government of Alberta.
